Two days of meetings and screenings in Tempio Pausania dedicated to Salvatore Mereu's film, "Wandering Trees."
The Giordo Cinema Theater will host a series of events featuring Mereu himself and writer Alberto Capitta , author of the book on which the film is based. Capitta co-wrote the screenplay with Salvatore Mereu.
A screening has been organized for the city's schools on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. Mereu and Palitta will meet with the students. Tomorrow, at 6:00 p.m., there will be screenings and a meeting with the director and writer. The film is based on the novel "Alberi Erranti e naufraghi," which was named Book of the Year 2013 on the Rai Radio 3 program "Fahrenheit" and, also in 2013, won the Brancati Prize in the fiction category.
Alberto Capitta has been living and working in Tempio Pausania for several years now.
