Two arrested for attempted theft at Poetto after loading a scooter into a van.

Two men aged 24 and 45 were arrested by police in Cagliari after attempting to steal a scooter parked in the Poetto area.

The incident occurred in recent days. According to the police's reconstruction, the two men, already known to the police, attempted to load the motorcycle into a van to take it away, only to abandon it on the street, likely after being discovered by someone who had alerted the police by calling 112.

After finding the scooter, the Flying Squad officers managed to intercept the van with the two men aboard. They were arrested for attempted aggravated theft, while the scooter was returned to its owner.
