Hundreds of kilometers on two wheels along the roads of Sardinia chasing a dream: building a future together, among many motorcycles and a motorbike-related business.

Claudia Mesina , a 20-year-old from Poggio dei Pini, and Mirko Contini , a 23-year-old from Oristano, are a couple in real life and a duo with a strong social media following: she has around 150,000 followers, he has 140,000 on Instagram, and TikTok. Enduro, motocross, motards, and street bikes: a passion that brought them together and which they now hope to turn into a career.

Their first meeting came in 2023 almost by chance. "I had gone to Cagliari to help a friend whose car had broken down," Mirko recalls. Then the two moved on, approached a vending machine, "and there we saw each other," Claudia adds. "He was in the car, I was on my motorbike. It was a quick encounter, but we stayed in touch until our first outing together."

Mirko had already started sharing his passion on social media. "I'd been making videos for a while. With the vertical videos on Instagram, the views increased, and the first collaborations arrived." Then Claudia arrived: "I started posting videos because he encouraged me. The numbers on my profile grew, and I continued." They currently collaborate with companies in the sector and reinvest their earnings in fuel and equipment for their motorcycles.

"We're thinking about saving as much as possible to create better content," Mirko emphasizes. The goal is "to be together, have lots of bikes, have fun, and continue sharing our greatest passion on social media while also making some money," adds Claudia. This passion leads them to meet people from all over the world. Many foreign tourists contact them for advice on itineraries in Sardinia and to organize outings. "Our form of communication is not language, but motorcycles."

The news often reports accidents involving motorcyclists. Claudia and Mirko don't hide the risks and encourage everyone to experience motorcycling responsibly: "Many people have had bad experiences, and that's why it's difficult to change their minds. Those who ride irresponsibly will always be around, as will those who live this passion with care and safety."

"Motorcycling," they continue, "carries risks, but it can be experienced as a passion like many others. It allows different people to unite, even those from different cultures. Probably, if it hadn't existed, we wouldn't have met each other and met so many of the people who are part of our lives today. It also happens that those who have had negative experiences hear my story and, at least in part, change their minds. It's nice to think that there are people who continue to ride their motorcycles to remember friends they've lost: in those cases, the motorcycle also becomes a way to keep a bond and a memory alive."
