Investigations have been closed and the Tempio Pausania magistrates are facing charges against around twenty people who submitted plans for the construction of country homes in Olbia, obtaining (according to the prosecutor) the permits based on false documents . According to Deputy Prosecutor Alessandro Bosco, dozens of permits (land improvements with a farmhouse) were issued by the Municipality of Olbia based on false certifications submitted by a professional up until 2022.

The charge of forgery concerns the Olbia technician defended by criminal lawyer Giampaolo Murrighile, as well as clients who allegedly entrusted him with submitting land improvement requests. Olbia Municipality offices reported to the Tempio Pausania Public Prosecutor's Office that the owners of the land in the agricultural zone claimed to be professional agricultural entrepreneurs without having this qualification (a requirement for obtaining permits).

No comment from the lawyers representing the owners of the lots (lawyers Pietro Carzedda, Jacopo Merlini, Alessandra Cocco, Antonello Desini, Gianni Pilisiu, Donatella Arru, Michele Ponsano, Luca Montella, and Gianluca Cataldi). In some cases, construction sites have apparently been opened in the countryside (including a house with a swimming pool), and the clients of the works have been reported for illegal construction and forgery.
