«Why all these construction sites and why all together?»: the mayor of Cagliari , Paolo Truzzu, chose the enclosed area of via Roma with the workers at work behind him, to answer the question that many of his fellow citizens ask themselves. The city is experiencing a phase of revolution which is creating numerous inconveniences.

Port area, viale Trieste, viale Buoncammino. And soon Piazza Archipelago. All areas of intervention with bulldozers and heavy vehicles.

It happens "because in 2021", explains the mayor, "we have received over 70 million from Europe and we have a tight schedule to spend it".

The work, therefore, «had to start, otherwise we risked losing resources. And honestly, between a stationary city that does nothing and one that improves and grows, I prefer the second option».
