Tragedy in Uri: Security guard dies during shift

Tragedy has struck the Cuga dam, where a security guard was found dead this morning after completing his patrol at the reservoir managed by Enas (Sardinia Water Authority), in the municipality of Uri.
The man, Carlo Sanna , 49 years old from Olmedo , was found lying on the ground around 7am by a colleague who was preparing to replace him in the shift of guarding and surveillance of the entire area of the reservoir.
Emergency medical personnel arrived on the scene and simply confirmed the man's death. Initial investigations indicated that the man died at work due to cardiac arrest, but an autopsy has been ordered to determine the true cause of death.
The security guard, well-known in Olmedo, had been working as a security guard for many years, but only recently at the Cuga dam. Many fellow villagers who knew the security guard expressed their condolences to the family on social media.
