Antonio Serra, originally from Thiesi , lost his life yesterday morning in Spain. The 40-year-old, who had been living abroad for some time, died, according to Spanish news agencies, in an accident at work on a farm in Bunyola , on the island of Mallorca.

The man reportedly struck some wires while performing maintenance, losing his balance and falling to the ground. The tractor he was driving overturned, crushing him. Rescue efforts by medical personnel were unsuccessful.

Serra, described by all as a hard worker, leaves behind a wife and son.
