In Ploaghe, a woman dies after being hit by an elderly man reversing; rescue efforts are unsuccessful.

Tragedy in Ploaghe , where a 50-year-old woman died after being hit by an 81-year-old man reversing.

The tragedy occurred at around 5.30pm in the town, in Corso Giovanni Spano , when the elderly driver hit the woman and also an 80-year-old man , who ended up thrown against a wall and sustained serious injuries.

The emergency medical service attempted to revive the woman for a long time but was unsuccessful, while the 80-year-old was transported with critical condition to the Santissima Annunziata hospital in Sassari.
