Tragedy struck aboard a yacht departing from Olbia, where a 74-year-old Swiss man was found dead this morning, presumably after suffering a sudden illness.

The emergency occurred about half an hour after the vessel set sail. Receiving the distress call by radio, the Olbia Port Authority activated 118 and coordinated the rescue operations.

Meanwhile, the yacht returned to the port of Olbia. Emergency responders on board confirmed the passenger's death from natural causes. Following the completion of the required procedures, the body was returned to the family.
