Chaos breaks out every morning on the outskirts of Cagliari. Rivers of cars pour into the city center from Poetto, Asse Mediano, Viale Marconi, Viale Elmas, and State Road 554. A constant flow creates long queues and discontent among drivers stuck in the sun.

The plague of traffic doesn't abandon the city even in the summer, and when construction sites and accidents are added to the mix, the roads become hell.

At 8 a.m., the roads to avoid are almost always the same: just after the Is Pontis Paris overpass, coming from the hinterland towns towards Cagliari, almost every day a wall of cars rises for at least half a kilometer. Vehicles at a crawl, despite the late 2020 revolution that introduced a one-way system, which was supposed to make entering the city smoother.

Toward the sea, the situation changes little. On Viale Poetto, a constant flow of traffic occurred, which yesterday morning also included yet another accident at the roundabout on Viale Colombo. The result: traffic was paralyzed for 45 minutes in almost all directions.
