The island is preparing to say goodbye to August with a smile. The summer numbers confirm a very strong season, maintaining last year's already exceptional levels and, in several indicators, surpassing them. But perhaps the best news comes now, when the calendar should be inviting a slowdown: September and October are promising and continue to show growing demand , with record bookings and an increasingly significant presence.

In the first 28 days of August, arrivals at Sardinian ports and airports reached nearly 1.3 million , confirming last year's figures. Around 100,000 passengers passed through the ports alone in two days during the mid-August holiday . But demand, as mentioned, doesn't seem to end with August, as confirmed by data from the Extra-Belghiero and the latest regional survey of booked nights, which recorded a 16.2 percent increase in September and a 7.9 percent increase in October compared to the seasonal average. Yet not all destinations are celebrating: Olbia is doing well, while Bosa ends a mixed season.
