But suddenly, a German tourist was bitten by a dog. The incident occurred around 10:30 a.m. today at S'Orologiu beach, a stretch of fine sand before the Orrì beach. The exact circumstances of the incident are still under investigation, but the woman was attacked by the dog and had to call 118 for help.
The Sassari operations centre sent the crew of the Le Grazie volunteer association to the site .
Staff provided first aid to the tourist on the scene, but her injuries prompted transportation to the emergency room at Lanusei Hospital, where she underwent further tests. Her condition is not serious.
