Tortolì, fears arose on a 125cc scooter: an electrical cable snapped, caught fire, and fell on a moving car.

Fear struck on State Road 125, at the southern entrance to Tortolì . Around 8 a.m. today, a high-tension power line snapped and fell on a moving car.

The cable caught fire and the two women, who were traveling towards Tortolì, were trapped inside the small car . They were not injured.

Traffic police, Carabinieri, firefighters, 118 emergency services, and Enel personnel were on site, having cut off the power to ensure safety.

Traffic was diverted onto the Cea coastal road.
