The patient was transferred by ambulance to the helicopter, which had meanwhile landed in a clearing opposite the industrial consortium's headquarters. From there, the man was transported to Nostra Signora della Mercede Hospital in Lanusei for further evaluation. His condition is stable. The timely response by Croce Verde volunteers and the regional Areus service was once again crucial.
