Tortolì, a pileup on the Eastern Highway leaves five young people injured, traffic diverted.

Five young people were injured in the accident that occurred at 3:20 PM on the Orientale highway , on the southern outskirts of Tortolì. They were all transported, with yellow status, to the emergency room at Nostra Signora della Mercede in Lanusei.

The pile-up, at the height of the new roundabout that opens onto the main road from Via Garibaldi, involved three vehicles .

Three 118 crews intervened on site, the Lanusei traffic police for the legal investigations, the Carabinieri and the firefighters of Tortolì.

Traffic on this stretch immediately came to a halt, with traffic diverted onto the old route, on the side of the Agricultural Institute.
