Four boys at the mercy of the rough seas saved themselves by climbing the cliff and were then rescued by the Fire Brigade.

The episode occurred today around 2 pm in the waters of Torre delle Stelle . The young people, two boys and two girls, went out for an excursion with the SUP, but due to the sea conditions they were no longer able to return to the starting point . So, seeing themselves in difficulty, they climbed onto the cliff, where they practically remained trapped .

And here the divers and the naval section of the Fire Department of Cagliari arrived, alerted by a request for intervention from the Coast Guard. Given the shallow water and the waves that were breaking against the rocks, the divers decided to reach the boys by swimming . After having them wear life jackets and helmets, they transported them to the Fire Department's dinghy, also with the help of ropes thrown by the rescuers.

Once the SUP boards were recovered, the boys were brought back safe and sound to the beach from which they had set out.
