Torralba, woman injured in overturned car on Highway 131: one seriously injured

Car overturned on State Road 131 near Torralba, heading towards Cagliari.

A woman was injured in the accident at kilometre 174 and firefighters had to extract her from the wreckage.

Given her injuries, the emergency medical service took her by helicopter to the Santissima Annunziata hospital in Sassari.

No other vehicles were involved. The traffic police were on site to carry out the necessary investigations, and ANAS (Italian National Roads Authority) had to close a section of the road to restore safety.
