Salvatore Mattana is the new sole director of Igea Spa. The former mayor of Sarroch and former head of the Cagliari Industrial Consortium (Cacip) was appointed by the Regional Council this morning, on the proposal of Industry Councilor Emanuele Cani: from the Democratic Party, he will take the place of Michele Caria.

The company controlled by the Region is not sailing in good waters: due to lack of money, due to the failure to transfer public resources, it has suspended all payments and even the September salaries have been considered at risk.

Alessandra Todde's executive has therefore decided "to ask, from now, the new sole director to call, without delay, the assembly in order to proceed with the approval of the financial statements for the years 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023, after completing the duties set out in the Statute, in addition to those provided for by the civil code".
