Fear this afternoon at the Tonara sports field during the Summer Camp.

A 13-year-old girl was injured after a fall while playing with some peers on a soapy synthetic carpet. She allegedly hit her head hard on impact and lost consciousness.

The young woman was airlifted to Brotzu Hospital in Cagliari and admitted with a red code. She had lost consciousness when paramedics arrived.

However, checks carried out at the hospital did not reveal any serious injuries and the thirteen-year-old's life is not in danger.
