“Separate to unite. Between due process, autonomy and independence of the Judiciary”. This is the theme at the center of the National Council of Aiga, the Italian Association of Young Lawyers , scheduled for tomorrow (from 3 pm) and Saturday (from 9:30 am) at the Caesar's Hotel in Cagliari. It will be a moment of comparison and discussion, with the participation of 300 lawyers from all over Italy.
Tomorrow's meeting will open at 3:30 pm with institutional greetings, followed by a round table discussion with the participation of the Deputy Minister of Justice, Francesco Paolo Sisto, and the parliamentarians Pietro Pittalis, Jacopo Morrone, Francesco Mura, Valentina D'Orso and Francesca Ghirra. The work of the National Executive Council will continue on Saturday.

"For Young Lawyers, the Cnd of Cagliari represents a fundamental opportunity to promote a constructive debate on the importance of the separation of powers", highlights Carlo Foglieni, president of AIGA . "The objective must be to guarantee full adversarial proceedings and equidistance between prosecution and defense, as well as the concrete impartiality of the judge. Principles that constitute the true essence of jurisdiction".
"For our section it is a great honor and a real pleasure to host this important event in the city of Cagliari", underlines Mauro Trogu, president of the AIGA section of Cagliari . "It will be an opportunity both to attend a high-level debate on a very current topic and of extreme importance for the constitutional structure of the country, and to let the many colleagues who will visit the city over the weekend discover the beauties of the Sardinian capital. We expect a great participation".
