Sardinia also confirms its position as a land of excellence in the world of artisanal gelato. Three island establishments have been included in the prestigious ranking of the one hundred best gelato shops in Italy compiled by the specialized magazine "Dissapore," the result of extensive tastings and evaluations based on the quality of the raw materials, sensory profile, creativity, and innovation.

Representing the island are the Fenu ice cream shop in Cagliari, the Oriolos in Perfugas and the Pichi in Iglesias , three different businesses but united by a strong focus on research and product identity.

For Fenu, this new recognition adds to an already significant achievement. The Cagliari-based establishment has received the Gambero Rosso Tre Coni award for the tenth consecutive year, the highest recognition awarded by the renowned guide to Italy's best gelato shops. This achievement confirms the continuity and excellence of the work carried out in the Sardinian capital and consolidates Fenu's position among the national benchmarks in the sector.

Alongside Fenu, Dissapore's ranking also recognizes Oriolos di Perfugas, a company that showcases the region through flavors and ingredients rooted in local tradition, and Pichi di Iglesias, an emerging artisanal gelato shop that has stood out in recent years for the quality of its offerings and its contemporary take on gelato.

The presence of three Sardinian ice cream parlors among the top one hundred in Italy represents significant recognition for the entire regional sector, increasingly appreciated for its ability to combine craftsmanship, research, and the valorization of local products.
