Three non-EU citizens were arrested by police at the Porto Torres port. During checks, they were found in possession of false travel documents and provided false personal details to operators.

Officers from the General Prevention and Public Rescue Office of the Sassari Police Headquarters observed several foreign nationals boarding ships bound for Genoa, presenting suspicious documentation, and proceeded to identify them. The investigations revealed that the documents presented were false and that the personal details provided were incorrect.

The three were arrested, and their arrest was subsequently confirmed by the judicial authorities. Two of them were placed under precautionary measures requiring them to sign in and remain at home, while the third was sentenced to six months' imprisonment with a suspended sentence.
