Carabinieri officers from the Villasor station, supported by their colleagues from Serramanna, Villamar, and Samatzai, arrested a 27-year-old Moroccan man, already known to law enforcement, who is believed to be responsible for domestic violence and attempted extortion.
The military's intervention was prompted by yet another episode of threats and harassment that the young man allegedly directed at his parents, in an attempt to obtain money to purchase drugs.

Upon arriving at the family home, the Carabinieri noted the seriousness of the situation and, after restoring calm, proceeded to arrest the young man.

After reconstructing the incident, the 27-year-old was accompanied to the barracks and subsequently transferred to Uta prison.
