Cost of living, healthcare, education, and military spending. Thousands of people in Cagliari joined the day of action, with a general strike called for today by the USB.

In Piazza Garibaldi, alongside the workers on the streets, there are also various social and student groups.

Among the groups that joined the demonstration were the Sardinian Committee for Solidarity with Palestine, students from schools in Cagliari and Sassari, Gioventude de Sardinia, Potere al Popolo, A Foras, Sardigna Global Sumud, the Committee for the Rights of Educators, Young Palestinians of Sardinia, and the Pratobello 24 Committees, which protest energy speculation.
