Now booking for the third dose of the anti-Covid vaccine for Sardinians over 60 and all health professionals.
After the start in recent weeks of appointments for people suffering from specific diseases (immunosuppressed) and for the over 80 (those born up to 1941), from today also all those born between '61 and '40, those who carry out health professions and operators who work in health, social-health, social-welfare structures, pharmacies and parapharmacies and in professional offices whose names have been communicated to the Directorate General of Health (pursuant to Legislative Decree 44/2021), again, those born from 1942 to 2003 which fall into the “highly frail” categories, they can - if at least six months have passed since the last dose received - set a date and place for the third.
Those who have had Covid after the second dose of the vaccine are advised to ask the primary care physician when to do it.
The Health Protection Company reminds that the large hubs of Cagliari, Quartu, San Gavino, Oristano, Nuoro, Sassari, Olbia are in operation, and that it is possible to choose between the places indicated where you prefer to go.
Reservations can be made online at https://prenotazioni.vaccinicovid.gov.it, through the call center at 800 009966, in post offices and through postmen. As requests increase, the reopening of various municipal vaccination points and the organization of "Open days" in the territories are expected. In short, we start again, with the anti-Covid vaccination (the campaign had begun at the end of last December), the EMA gave the ok for the third doses from 18 years upwards, and the Region will proceed by bands, according to the indications of the Government.
