Thefts in at least three supermarkets, which is why a couple, aged 37 and she 32, ended up in handcuffs in Iglesias .

On Sunday morning the police officers of the local police station inspected a car parked near a supermarket in the town. The man on board, who was waiting for his wife who was busy shopping in the business.

Shortly afterwards the woman arrived and told the police that she had not made any purchases. But an officer had seen her, as she was leaving, hide two envelopes behind a wall before reaching her husband . Having recovered the envelopes, the officers ascertained that the woman had shopped for 58 euros, without paying . And in the vehicle the officers found other products stolen from other supermarkets in the country, for a total of 265 euros .

The two, both with police records , were arrested for complicit and continuous theft and taken to the Iglesias police station, awaiting the validation hearing in front of the investigating judge.
