A post office robbery in Ula Tirso resulted in an employee being threatened with a knife, resulting in theft of €20,000.

The Ula Tirso post office was robbed . The robbery occurred this morning when the office opened, when a man wearing a cap showed up. He threatened the clerk with a pocketknife and demanded her hand over the money . He then disappeared without a trace.

The alarm was raised immediately, and Carabinieri officers from the Ghilarza Company and the Oristano Operations Unit responded to the scene. They began an investigation and are reviewing video surveillance footage.
