From heat to storm warning, Sardinia – as expected – is heading for a "cooldown".
The Civil Protection Department has issued a new yellow alert for thunderstorms affecting the entire island except the Sassari and Gallura areas. This alert will be valid for the entire afternoon of tomorrow, June 30th, starting at 12:00.
Meanwhile, the ARPAs Meteorological Department is providing more detailed information on possible events. Tomorrow, "partly cloudy skies with thickening in the afternoon, accompanied by brief showers or isolated thunderstorms, locally moderate in intensity, more likely over inland mountains," are forecast. An improvement is expected in the evening.
Temperatures? Lows remain stable, highs slightly and generally decreasing.
