The stop of the Piombo line at Portovesme srl has been frozen (until January 31st)

The stop on the Piombo line of Portovesme srl was averted until January.

This is the commitment that the company made during today's meeting with President Solinas and the unions at Villa Devoto.

The factory will maintain its current production structure until January 31, 2023, pending a government measure that can calm the now unsustainable energy prices.

As a consequence of the freezing of the shutdown, the redundancy fund expiring was renewed for 392 workers (on rotation) and was not extended to the Lead line as well.
