The ever-increasing activity of the local police and new technologies are at the center of the fourth edition of the Regional Conference of the Local Police. The two-day event opens tomorrow at 9 in the Promocamera of Sassari and will continue throughout the day, until it ends at 13 on Friday.

The conference, chaired by Guido Calzia, commander of the Local Police of Cagliari, will open with a report by Gianni Serra, his counterpart in Sassari, entitled "The equipment of the electric pulse weapon for local police officers: regulatory provisions and administrative path-The Sassari experience”. This will be followed by an illustration of the characteristics and functioning of the taser by Stefano Bravi, Axon taser master instructor.

Of note among the other conference papers: "The Cartabia reform" by Marco Luciano (head of the investigation and prevention unit of Milan) who on Friday will also deal with the theme "The activity of the judicial police in combating street crimes, from drug dealing to brawls ”; "Controls on vehicles and exceptional transport" by Stefano Rossi (local police commissioner of La Spezia); "The Judicial Police in the execution of seizures and searches, tactical/operational techniques and conflict management" by Cristiano Curti Giardina, instructor and professional trainer.
