The Prefect of Cagliari, Giuseppe Castaldo, accompanied by the Provincial Commander of the Carabinieri, Luigi Grasso, visited the Santadi Carabinieri Station this morning, where he was welcomed with great enthusiasm by the personnel on duty.

It was an opportunity for a direct discussion with the military, to whom the Prefect expressed heartfelt thanks for their constant, daily commitment to monitoring the territory, emphasizing how their work contributes to maintaining a continuous and reassuring presence alongside the population.

During the meeting, the value of the Carabinieri's widespread presence was emphasized, as its stations, even in small towns, ensure an irreplaceable guarantee of legality. The Santadi station was cited as an example of this model of proximity: a point of reference for citizens, a bastion of legality.

The visit also provided an opportunity to discuss the state of public order and safety in the surrounding area, a discussion that did not highlight any specific issues related to the local situation.
