The training ship Palinuro on its way to Olbia. The jewel of the Navy is sailing with the favor of the winds towards the Isola Bianca port, where it will remain open to public visits tomorrow, Friday 26 May.
It will be open to visitors in pier 9 of the Gallura port and will be open from 2 to 7 pm. The next day it will move to the waters in front of Porto Cervo, before setting off again towards Imperia.
The schooner ship performs two tasks, that of offering the necessary support for the training of junior non-commissioned officers and that of contributing to the image projection of the Navy.
La Palinuro will then be the special guest in the Cala dei Sardi of the 42nd J24 national championship in which the reigning Italian multiple champion "La Superba" of the Naples Sailing Center of the Navy and helmed by Ignazio Bonanno will compete.
