The final stretch for the redevelopment of the Palaserradimigni stadium in Sassari . Approximately €13 million has been invested in this project, from €4.2 million from the Jessica Funds when Nicola Sanna was mayor, to the €9 million obtained from the Region during the Nanni Campus administration.

This morning at the Palazzo Ducale, in the 4th Public Works Commission, Councilor Salvatore Sanna and the project manager, Francesco Canu, reviewed the progress of the building, which just last week achieved a significant milestone. "The council," Sanna reported, "has approved the executive project, and work will begin in September, costing €5 million."

The works will primarily concern the external area and the stands . As is known , the expansion works will concern the lateral stands, which will have an additional tier , as will the Curva B, with a U-shaped layout, widening the spaces for fans. All this will increase the capacity from the current 3,980 spectators to just under 6,000 .

"The plumbing and lighting will be redone, and there will be a photovoltaic system. The parquet will be new, and we will have radiant floor heating as required by the League," Sanna stated. The heart of the project, however, will be removing the roof and installing a new circular-section covering, which will increase the height of the structure from the parquet to the cube, reaching 12 meters. This will also allow for the stadium to be approved for volleyball matches . "These works will be completed after Dinamo's last home game, at the end of the next season, ideally by May 2026." This has saved €700,000, which will be reinvested in other improvements. As for the four gyms in the complex, three have been renovated by Dinamo, the company that manages the facility, at no cost to the city administration. "Their future use," the councilor clarified, "will have to wait until next year and the completion of the work."
