The cell phone of Danilo Cancedda, the 40-year-old security guard found lifeless four months ago among the trees of Santa Gilla, had already been subjected to checks in the days following the discovery of the body, but in the coming weeks it could once again end up at the center of checks by investigators from the Prosecutor's Office. This is because the family, during a long report on the program "Chi l'ha visto?" on Rai 3, raised doubts about a now-deleted Whatsapp conversation, dating back to February 13, the very day of the mysterious suicide. A chat with ephemeral messages that are automatically deleted within 24 hours. The texts have disappeared, but the number of the interlocutor is visible and is still active. Cancedda's mother and sister allegedly tried to call several times, without receiving an answer.

The investigation

Deputy prosecutor Diana Lecca has started the investigation with the hypothesis of "incitement to suicide" . The security guard's family has also raised doubts about the seat belt that was allegedly cut from the back seat of Danilo Cancedda's car and then used to take his own life. In addition, his mother, Daniela, pointed out that his feet were touching the ground and that there seemed to be footprints in his work uniform trousers.
