Once the stage is done, the artists need to be found. The Municipality of Cagliari races against time and creates an Event Arena which will remain set up at the Fair until October.

The decision dates back to the last few days, but the publication of the decision of the manager Marco Zedda is only in the last few hours: the Entertainment service has committed just under 57 thousand euros for «the creation and management of the setting up of an outdoor entertainment area for the period July - October 2024 at the Cagliari exhibition center called Arena 2024 - Cagliari Summer Forum".

The task was entrusted to the special company Centro Servizi Promozionali per le Imprese of the Cagliari-Oristano Chamber of Commerce, which manages the Fair spaces. The materials are already available and, for this reason, savings are expected compared to relying on an external party.

The administration is thus trying to keep faith with the promise made by Mayor Massimo Zedda, who as soon as he took office announced that he wanted to set up a summer program of events, which had not been foreseen until now.
