The meeting organized in Cagliari between Sardinian disability associations and the Northern League minister Alessandra Locatelli has become a case: the representatives of four organizations ( Anmic , Rp Sardegna Odv Ets , Aism Sassari and Asbi Sardegna ) left the meeting in controversy.

"It was a communications trap," emphasizes Giuseppe Martini , president of Rp Sardegna Odv and vice president of the Federation for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and Families. "We were invited to a meeting regarding Decree 62 and personalized projects. We thought it was a technical meeting, with no political input. This struck me as profoundly unethical."

"If I want to personally participate in a political meeting, of a party nature, I participate in a personal capacity, but I cannot participate in an associative or even active federation capacity," Martini reiterates.

Posters, symbols, and a video celebrating the League annoyed several representatives, who left the room. "We were invited to meet with the minister to discuss the new disability reform," emphasized Lucia Farci , president of the AISM (Italian Association of Socialists) of the Province of Sassari. "Instead, we found ourselves at a completely unannounced political meeting, so we're not going to be there and we're leaving. We arrived from Sassari last night, we spent time and money, and I found this move, regardless of my political beliefs, to be truly unfair."
