This morning at the MASE museum in the Porto Conte Park the sculptures by the master Mario Nieddu dedicated to the writer Antoine De Saint-Exupéry were inaugurated. A special "Encounter", the one between the writer-aviator Antoine De Saint-Exupéry, the Little Prince and his friend Fox, told by the master Mario Nieddu through the sculpture that from today welcomes visitors at the entrance to the Mase museum.

This morning there was the inaugural ceremony, on the occasion of the eightieth anniversary of the death of Antoine De Saint-Exupéry, who spent the last important months of his existence right in the Bay of Porto Conte. The installation enriches the collection of works, photographs and period objects that make the Antoine De Saint-Exupéry Museum of the New Tower such a special place.

The president of the Porto Park Conte Raimondo Tilloca, the artistic director of MASE Massimiliano Fois, the councilor for Culture of the Municipality of Alghero Raffaella Sanna, the president of the Alghero Foundation Neria De Giovanni and two exceptional guests took part in the event : the president of the Latécoère Foundation Pierre Ezéar and the president of the "Petit Prince Collection" Foundation Jean-Marc Probst.
During the ceremony, maestro Nieddu introduced his works with some passages linked to the drama of war which goes beyond a temporal axis that starts from the experience of the author of the Little Prince up to, unfortunately, the present day. To close this moment the recitation of a poem by Nieddu himself by Venere Rosati.
