It seemed impossible, but it succeeded once again, a matter of "Karma," like the catchy song sung by The Kolors, the band that brought life to the heart of Porto Torres. Pasquetta Turritana once again won over the huge crowd and the organization itself, a stage for grand occasions that made the city soar beyond the borders.
The band, fronted by Stash, took to the stage, performing one of the most anticipated live shows, showcasing their hits and establishing them as one of Italy's most popular bands. They took to the stage promptly at the foot of the Aragonese Tower, greeted the crowd—a river of people stretching from Via Mare to Corso Vittorio Emanuele—and then the first note of "Frida- Mai, mai, mai," followed by "Questa non è Ibiza" and "Un ragazzo, una ragazza." The show lasted over an hour, filled with great entertainment and engaging audiences who filled the streets, having traveled from neighboring towns to attend the concert.
"Every time we see such an incredible crowd, we think back to when we first started singing in a basement: this isn't normal, but it's a great blessing." These were the bandleader's words, before a crowd that exceeded all expectations. Recognizable from the first note, they engaged a wide range of young people, spanning all age groups. The action began in the morning, starting at 10 a.m., when the city center was transformed into a vast pedestrian area, stretching from Corso Vittorio Emanuele to Via Mare, offering a lively route of craft and creative markets, food and drink stalls, and spaces designed for conviviality.
In Piazza Eroi dell'Onda, a dedicated children's area with inflatable games was set up. From 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, Piazza Eroi dell'Onda was filled with kites with "Aquilara" (in collaboration with the Pro Loco Turritana) featuring artist Roland D'Alessandro. A message of hope also took flight: Roland's kites are a popular game among children in Middle Eastern countries, now more heavily affected by war than ever. Between Piazza Umberto I and the Church of the Consolata, visitors can admire the static display curated by the Vespa Club Porto Torres, celebrating one of the most iconic symbols of Italian design and mobility. Music accompanied the entire day: from 12:00 pm, the streets of the city center came alive with performances by local bands—Disco 70, The Punch, Bianchi e Bernie, Tuning Places—creating the perfect atmosphere in anticipation of the big evening event.
Throughout the event, visitors were able to learn more about the wonders of Asinara National Park, thanks to a dedicated space where operators and representatives accompanied them on a discovery of the island, amidst its pristine nature and breathtakingly beautiful itineraries.
