The island still in the grip of Covid: another 7 deaths, and 1,504 new cases
Infections have doubled in the last 24 hours, intensive ones have been stable

Leap of infections in Sardinia: there are 1,504 new confirmed cases of positivity to Covid-19 detected in the last 24 hours on the island, a figure that doubles that of the previous survey (792 cases) and on the basis of 5503 people tested.
Unfortunately, there are 7 other deaths: three men aged 63, 79 and 83, residing in the Metropolitan City of Cagliari; a 75-year-old woman and an 89-year-old man, resident in the province of Southern Sardinia; two men of 87 and 97, residing in the province of Sassari.
A total of 24,930 swabs were processed, including molecular and antigenic, with a positivity rate of 6% (yesterday it was 2.5%).
There are 32 patients admitted to intensive care units, unchanged from the previous bulletin. The patients admitted to the medical area are instead 377, four fewer than yesterday.
There are 22,748 cases of home isolation, 208 more than yesterday.
