Sardinia risks moving from the white to the yellow zone, although there should be no changes for next week.

The risks concern the criteria set for the exchange: of the three, one is over the limit. This is the incidence of cases per 100 thousand inhabitants, which has long since broken through the value of 50 per 100 thousand, reaching 226, while remaining among the lowest in Italy in the latest ISS report for the control room.

The other two criteria for a possible change to yellow are those relating to hospitalizations. According to the latest monitoring by Agenas (Tuesday's data is crystallized for the weekly ISS report), the percentages of beds occupied by positives remain below the saturation thresholds but not far from the limits set by the legislation. In intensive care, the percentage of occupation of Covid patients on the total number of beds is 9% (+ 1% compared to the figure of Monday 3), only one percentage point below the threshold set by the Government; in the medical area the threshold is 4 percentage points away, reaching 11% (+1).

In the event that these two data continue to climb the island in the second part of January it could end up in the yellow zone but with slight and almost imperceptible further restrictions.
