There is the Sardinian flag atop Mount Toubkal , Morocco. It was exhibited by three trekking enthusiasts, Roberto Ciabattini, Bastiano Cappai (from Borore) and Nina Pische (from Sassari), who reached the highest peak of the Atlas, at 4154 metres .

A difficult goal, made even more challenging by the high and prohibitive temperatures of the Moroccan summer, which put the trio to the test.

But in the end the enterprise was completed: «Those mountains», explains Roberto Ciabattini, «are very particular. Furthermore, the Moroccan people are very kind and welcoming». And success could only be celebrated with the Four Moors towering above Toubkal.
