The first preliminary hearing in the Cinzia Pinna murder trial has concluded in Tempio Pausania. Judge Federica Di Stefano rejected the defense's objections and adjourned the case until next Friday following requests from Public Prosecutor Noemi Mancini and the defense and civil plaintiffs' lawyers. Lawyers Antonella and Nino Cuccureddu appeared in court representing the victims' families. The civil plaintiffs appearing on behalf of Cinzia Pinna's family are her father, mother, a sister, and six uncles. Luca Franciosi, an alleged victim of slander, is also a civil plaintiff, represented by lawyers Nicoletta and Maurizio Mani.

Preliminary hearing judge Federica Di Stefano rejected the request for restorative justice presented by Emanuele Ragnedda's lawyers. The victim's family, deeply shocked and in tears, attended this phase of the trial, and their lawyers expressed a negative opinion regarding the benefits of restorative justice. However, the rejection decision was largely due to Emanuele Ragnedda's conduct during the investigation. The goal, at this stage of the proceedings, of the Arzachena businessman's lawyers, criminal lawyers Luca Montella and Gabriele Satta, is to challenge the extremely serious aggravating circumstances (futile motives, cruelty, abject motives) contested by prosecutor Noemi Mancini .

A decision on the indictment request could arrive next Friday. As things stand, if the charges are not amended and the Tempio prosecutor's requests are accepted, the trial will be held in the Assize Court in Sassari.
