From 11 to 15 June 2025, Cagliari will become the beating heart of sustainable mobility and sports tourism, hosting the Fiab National Cycle Rally. The event, organized by the Cagliari association of the Italian Environment and Bicycle Federation (Fiab), underlines the importance of the Sardinian capital and the entire Metropolitan City as a destination of excellence for outdoor sports events.
«An opportunity to promote the territory and the values of sustainable mobility». According to Virgilio Scanu, President of Fiab Cagliari, the cycling rally represents much more than a sporting event:
"It is a unique opportunity to bring together cycling enthusiasts from all over Italy , to experience moments of friendship and sharing, and to promote the values of sustainable mobility through cycling tourism. Furthermore, it allows us to get to know the natural beauty, historical heritage and traditions of our territory."
A program full of itineraries between the city, coast and inland areas . Participants will be able to immerse themselves in a varied program of itineraries that will cross the city streets, the splendid coasts and the inland areas of the metropolitan city of Cagliari. Sintur Sinergie Turistiche will support the organization and sale of tourist packages, providing an innovative Destination Management system to manage reservations for tourist packages, registrations and services.
A significant impact on the territory. " With approximately 2,000 expected attendees, the event will have an interesting economic impact on the territory ," says Martino Di Martino, head of Sintur Sinergie Turistiche. "Local accommodation facilities, the restaurant sector and services will benefit from the presence of participants, confirming the importance of outdoor events for the local economy."
