The defender Giovanni Battista Gallus gave the news. The investigating judge of Lanusei Mariano Arca had declared the non-suit for a series of facts connected to the alleged theft of aliquots of DNA from the Genos park , and to the processing of personal data, for 11 suspects including Vaccargiu.
The Public Prosecutor had filed an appeal only against the latter. In a separate proceeding, the Lanusei gup Paola Murru had already declared the non-suit for Pirastu, in July 2021. Previously, in January 2020, the acquittal of the bankruptcy trustee of SharDna had been pronounced, judged with abbreviated rite.
Today the epilogue of the story: the Court of Appeal of Cagliari, second section, chaired by Tiziana Marogna, accepted the objection presented by the woman's defender, declaring the prosecutor's appeal inadmissible due to lateness. The reasons will be known in 30 days.
