Glass bottles (beer) and plastic bottles (water and fruit juices). Cans. Paper. Cardboard. Leftover food. And even (at least) a broken umbrella. On the sand, close to the shore as well as on the plants of the retrodune system.

Fourth stop of Poetto, in Cagliari, at the end of a sunny Sunday: the beach has been transformed into a landfill. The fault: of uncivilized bathers, of all ages, who by abandoning their waste do not consider the problem of destroying a good that is (a little) theirs too. But also of those who, witnessing one of the many scenes of degradation, perhaps turned the other way.

This portion of the coast, towards evening, was littered with garbage. A great thing for seagulls. The same birds that proliferate in landfills.
