The Castelsardo Polyclinic becomes a community home: work begins

The Castelsardo Polyclinic is set to become the new Community House, thanks to a demolition, reconstruction and expansion project of the current structure in Via Colombo. In recent days, specific investigation works were started on the soil and rocks in the area around the existing building to verify the limit load-bearing capacity of the foundation soil.
The intervention is possible thanks to Pnrr funds, for an amount equal to 1 million and 159 thousand euros, to which a further funding of 500 thousand euros from the Region has now been added.
The demolition, reconstruction and expansion of the existing outpatient clinic is envisaged, as envisaged in the Plan, presented on 16 December 2021, at the Territorial Social and Health Conference of the ASL of Sassari.
They will be the premises of the tourist port that will have to temporarily accommodate the existing services in the clinic, clinics and offices, previously located in via Colombo.
