Only brief respite, but the bad weather will not completely abandon Sardinia at least until the beginning of next week.

This is confirmed by the forecasts of Lorenzo Tedici , meteorologist and media manager of iLMeteo.it.

"On Wednesday," he explains, "bad weather will once again hit the Northeast, the central Tyrrhenian regions , and Sardinia, with phenomena that could prove persistent and severe. There is a risk of potentially critical situations due to saturated soil , after a very rainy January."

A new, sharp worsening is then expected over the weekend: «In fact – continues Tedici – even the weekend will see an Atlantic front dispensing rain , for a change always in the same areas, that is, along the Tyrrhenian coast and on the major islands, Sardinia and Sicily».

According to the ARPAS forecast, Wednesday will be " very cloudy with scattered rainfall, including showers or thunderstorms" and "falling temperatures, mainly in the low ranges."

A similar situation will be expected on Thursday and Friday, with Thursday and Friday "characterized by cloudy skies with isolated to scattered rainfall, including showers or thunderstorms", with "rough to very rough seas with an increase in swell from Thursday evening in the western sector".

Regarding the damage already caused by severe weather in Sardinia, Sicily, and Calabria in recent days due to the passage of Cyclone Harry, Civil Protection Minister Nello Musumeci delivered an urgent briefing today in the Chamber.
