The Amerigo Vespucci returns to Cagliari. A year after passing through the Gulf alongside Luna Rossa, in 2025, the Italian Navy's oldest sailing ship will once again stop on the island.
The Vespucci has returned from the North American Campaign, during which she visited the main ports of call in the United States and Canada, and arrived in Cadiz, Spain. She will be in Cagliari from September 13th to 16th.
The final return from this North American tour - an initiative of the Ministry of Defense and the Navy, produced by Difesa Servizi, in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Ministry of Culture, the Minister for Sport and Youth and the Minister for Disabilities - is scheduled in Trieste on October 8, immediately after having also touched the port of Venice.
Last year, many curious onlookers visited the Vespucci in Cagliari. Hundreds of people lined up, and Cagliari Calcio had also visited the vessel.
