A dinghy in difficulty off the coast of Teulada in southern Sardinia, carrying approximately 30 people, was rescued by a patrol boat and a helicopter from the Cagliari Coast Guard.

The alarm was raised by the migrants themselves, who reported an engine problem. Twenty-seven men, two women, and a three-year-old child were transferred from the dinghy to the patrol boat.

After disembarking at Cagliari's Porto Canale, they will be transferred to the reception center in Monastir. Their health is good.
