Local healthcare is taking a small step forward. Starting tomorrow, three nursing clinics will be open in Seui, Perdasdefogu, and Talana.
The services will be operational within the continuity of care centers, staffed by a nurse and an administrative staff. The clinics will immediately offer patients the opportunity to have blood samples taken.
The service will be provided twice a month in each municipality, from 8 to 10 a.m. It begins on September 12th in Seui, which will provide service on the second and fourth Friday of each month. Subsequently, the Talana clinic will begin operating on September 18th, opening on the first and third Thursday of each month. Finally, the Perdasdefogu clinic will open on September 19th, also operating on the first and third Friday of each month.
"We are launching the reorganization of the local services network, as required by Ministerial Decree 77, bringing healthcare facilities ever closer to residents," observes Diego Cabitza, Special Commissioner of the Local Health Authority. "We want to send a strong message to the local community, especially in communities further away from the main Local Health Authority health centers. The services in these three municipalities will also be a point of reference for residents of neighboring municipalities, with a view to strengthening networks between the various communities."
